I don’t have much for you this week– Not many groups schedule things for the “fifth Tuesday” of the month.

    It’s that time of month again, the after-after-party is back and this time it happens to fall on Halloween; so lets do it with style! In between refresh meetings and right after the Start-up weekend — lets keep the excitement going. It’s a beer drinking, rant raving extravaganza – and we are putting up the first $250 in drinks again.

  • Saturday: HolaNeighbor Launch Party!.
    HolaNeighbor.com, a Web site that allows communities of neighbors to connect with each other, has planned, built and deployed a complete and fully-functional product in only 54 hours. Executed by a group of seventy, many of which had just met on the first night of the event, this initiative unites tech and business talent across the DC-metro area in a way never attempted on such a scale.

    This intensive all-day workshop will arm novice and entry level Drupal users with a good schooling in Drupal basics, including installation, configuration, core functions, solid contributed modules, theme stunt driving and more. This workshops aims to provide quality Drupal isntruction in a price bracket that non-profits and small businesses can afford.
